A.120 kg

B.180 kg

C.160 kg

D.140 kg

E.None of these

Explanation :

Total production of sesame in 1991=100 kg

Total production of groundnut in 1994=2x

Total production of groundnut in 1993=3x

Total production of groundnut in 1992=3x+50

Total production of groundnut in 1991=3x-100

Total production of sesame in 1994=2x*2/3=4x/3

Total production of sesame in 1993=4x/3*125/100=5x/3

Total production of sesame in 1992=(3x+50)/2

2x+3x+3x+50+3x-100-[100+4x/3+5x/3+(3x+50)/2]=410

11x-150-9x/3-(3x+50)/2=410

39x=3510

x=90

Total production of groundnut in 1991=3*90-100=170 kg

Total production of groundnut in 1992=3*90+50=320 kg

Total production of groundnut in 1993=3*90=270 kg

Total production of groundnut in 1994=2*90=180 kg

Total production of sesame in 1992=320/2=160 kg

Total production of sesame in 1993=5*90/3=150 kg

Total production of sesame in 1994=4*90/3=120 kg

1) Answer: C

Total production of sesame in 1993 and 1994=150+120=270 kg

Required ratio=270:270=1:1

2) Answer: A

Total production of groundnut in 1992 and 1995=(160+80)*2=480 kg

Total production of groundnut in 1995=480-320=160 kg

Required difference=270-160=110 kg

3) Answer: B

Required percentage=(270-180)/180*100=90/180*100=50%

4) Answer: C

Required difference=170*20/100-100*26/100=34-26=8 kg

5) Answer: D

Required average=(160+120)/2=140 kg
