Eight musical instruments- Tuba, Drum, Flute, Gong, Bugle, Cornet, Piano, and Harp kept in the rectangular-shaped
Gong is kept third to the left of Drum. The drum does not keep in the middle of the table. Only one instrument was kept between Drum and Bugle. Flute kept second to the right of Harp. Flute kept neither adjacent to Gong nor Bugle. The number of instruments kept between Tuba and Cornet is the same as the number of instruments kept between Cornet and Piano. Piano neither kept adjacent to Gong nor Harp.

We have,

From the above condition, there are two possibilities.
Again we have,
- Flute kept second to the right of Harp.
- Flute kept neither adjacent to Gong nor Bugle.
From the above condition, case1 gets eliminated. Case2 has one more possibility.
Again we have,
- The number of instruments kept between Tuba and Cornet is the same as the number of instruments kept between Cornet and Piano.
- Piano neither kept adjacent to Gong nor Harp.
From the above condition, case2a gets eliminated. Case2 shows the final arrangement.
